Attached please find media advisories for UNAIDS activities in surrounding
World AIDS AIDS Day.  Activities include:

1.  November 23 release of "AIDS Epidemic Update: December 1999," with the
latest statistics on the global epidemic.

2.  December 1 release of a joint UNAIDS/UNICEF report on AIDS orphans in
the developing world, including the most comprehensive information to date
on AIDS orphans.

3.  December 1, "The Children Left Behind," a symposium on AIDS orphans at
the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
